2018 Culinary Challenge - Details & Documents


Real Food for Kids is sponsoring its 6th annual Culinary Challenge on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hayfield Secondary School.   The Culinary Challenge is open to all middle and high school student teams and provides a way for students to learn about and promote healthy eating, encourages team work, and highlights student culinary talents to a wide audience.


Students can enter a team in the Showcase (Back 2 Basics Breakfast or Snack) or Lunch Competition (Viva Vegetarian).  Teams in both categories are challenged to create a delicious and appealing school food item with consideration to nutritional balance.  With the Market Basket Lunch competition, students face added recipe, cost, presentation, and nutritional requirements.


Real Food for Kids will select up to 10 teams for the Showcase category and 10 teams for the Competition.  Please review the program details for more information and register before October 31, 2017.
